Athol Booster Club Monthly Newsletter

The school year is quickly coming to a close, but not before we have some more fun!  Please volunteer some time and/or goodies for Teacher Appreciation Week, May 2-6.  The teachers and staff of Athol Elementary work hard all year to nurture our children’s education and help them achieve goals.  Call Annette at

683-9981 to help as we say “Thanks, for a doing a great job!”

We have a few shirts left.  Be sure to buy one while supplies last!

Julie Trumble is in charge of the cookbook fundraiser.  We will begin collecting recipes before the end of school so watch for more information.  Be sure to collect some of those favorite family recipes from relatives or friends, as well.  Kids can also submit recipes!

A playground company and basic design has been selected.  The booster club is tasked with deciding how to spruce up the design with the money raised at the auction/spaghetti dinner.  Plans will be submitted by May 10th.  If you have any input, now is the time to voice it!  E-mail Helen Dane at danehohle@aol.com or call 683-5070.

Family night will return on May 26th.  Athol Booster Club will host the popcorn booth and a football toss booth.  If you are interested in helping, please let Mrs. Blagden in the school office know.  Give a little of your time and watch the kids enjoy the fun!

Next meeting: May 16th, 3:30pm, AE Library
