Hi, my name is Debbie Long and I am very proud to be the Principal of this World Class School.                                                              

Our school is named in honor of Betty Kiefer who was a distinguished 30 year educator with the Lakeland School District. She was devoted to her family, dedicated to teaching, and committed to our community.

Betty Kiefer Elementary truly is a school of excellence - a place where we can come together to be the best that we can be.

Our school is a safe, secure, and caring place where students learn and teachers teach. Our parents and the community join with us in an extremely positive way in pursuing and achieving our common goals.

Betty Kiefer Elementary is an Idaho School of Merit and a recipient of the prestigious A+ Excellence in Education Award.
