Starting this month, Garwood Elementary students will have an opportunity to earn “Garwood Grizzly Pride Tickets” by displaying the following character traits:

                                                          P= Positive

                                                          R= Respect

                                                          I=   Integrity

                                                         D= Dependable

                                                          E= Excellence

Important Dates:

          November 20^th –Skate Night

          November 21^st –Early Release 1:30

          November 29^th –Direct Math Assessment

Writing:     1. How-to paragraphs

                   2. Compare and contrast essays

Math:         Multiplication facts, reading fractions and mixed

                   numbers from a number line, area, squares and

                   square roots

Idaho History:   1. Lewis and Clark

                             2. Native Americans 

Reading:   1. Fact and opinion

                   2. Main idea and supporting details

                   3. Cause and effect

English:    1. Singular possessive nouns

                   2. Plural possessive nouns

                   3. Action and linking verbs
