Starting this month, Garwood Elementary students will have an opportunity to earn “Garwood Grizzly Pride Tickets” by displaying the following character traits:

                                                          P= Positive

                                                          R= Respect

                                                         D= Dependable

                                                          E= Excellence

Important Dates:

          November 20^th –Skate Night

          November 21^st –Early Release 1:30

          November 28^th –Direct Writing Assessment

Academic Focus:

Writing:     Narrative essay

Math:         Multiplication facts, reading and writing fractions and mixed numbers, adding and subtracting fractions, using protractors to measure angles

 History:    Early exploration of North America
