Western
Undergraduate Exchange (WUE):
Undergraduate students from Idaho may enroll in a participating institution in
other western states at a reduced tuition rate. WUE is a "decentralized" program
in which a student applies to one of the participating out-of-state institutions
of his or her choice, indicating that WUE status is desired. The institution
responds directly to the applying student. For information and a list of
participating WUE institutions contact:

Scholarships
The Internet has opened the world to scholarship
searches for the student looking for additional funds for school. Try
www.fastweb.com for one the worlds largest free
search engines for scholarships.
Colleges
have their own bank of scholarships that they give to eligible students who
apply to their school by the application deadline (generally Feb 1- April 15).
For other scholarships the counseling office
provides an updated list and
application forms. We also post our scholarship list on our website.
Watch out for Scholarship
Scams!
General Rule: If you have to pay money for a scholarship search or pay an application
fee for a scholarship, it’s probably a scam. Contact your School Counselor if
you are suspicious about a scholarship offer. We are here to assist you and
it’s free! See more information on our website with
Financial Aid Basics.

carpentry, masonry…and hundreds more. Training can last from 9 months to 4
years and the pay in many fields continues to rise.
