The annual Toys for Tots collections are just beginning through the county.

This year the Marine Corps League is also collecting new books to include with each bag of toys.

The Lakeland Junior High Library  would like to take it one step farther and collect new books and games

(card games, board games, family-oriented games, word search, Sudoku,

crosswords puzzle books, etc.) to be donated to the

Toys for Tots from Lakeland Junior High Students.

The Marine Corps League would like to include an age-appropriate book with each toy bag that the parent can read to the child or the child can read. 

Ages are from 0-12.

Who better to know what kind of books 0-12 year girls and boys would like to read than junior high students?

Please remember how much you enjoy reading a new book or playing a new game during Christmas vacation and help by donating a new book or game for others to enjoy.

Please drop off unwrapped donations in the LJHS library.
