Assignments given are normally due the following day unless the students are told differently.

Math
Our Saxon math program is designed for students to have nightly homework.  They will have some time in class to complete assignments, but the remainder is homework.  They have a test after every 5th lesson (i.e. Lsn. 5, 10, 15, 20, etc.)

Language Arts
In Reading, English, and Spelling students are given "packets" of worksheets that we work through during the week.

Spelling Pretests are given on Fridays for the next week's list.  Monday-Wednesday students will have a daily assignment.
 Final tests are Thursdays.

History, Science, Health
History, science, and health are not focused on as heavily as reading, language, and math.  Therefore, we may only work on these a few times a week.

Spelling Lists (Word format)

Our history textbook has a great website.  Students can take a "self-test" on each chapter to practice for the real test.

For History Ch. 1-5 (Geography) click here
Then choose the correct chapter, then "self-test."

For History Ch. 6-10 (US/Canada) click here
Then choose the correct chapter, then "self-test."

For History Ch. 11-15 (Latin American) click here
