The Study of Art @ Timberlake High School

Welcome to the art room!

Timberlake art classes individualize instruction according to each student’s needs including those pursuing art as a hobby or as a career. All classes have a focus on technique and Art creation skills.  We work on short- and long-term projects, and explore various media. Overall there is an emphasis on developing the individuals unique creative vision.

Other topics include the study of Art History, Artists, and how Art affects our everyday culture.

We suggest all students take Art 1 for two semesters to provide a  solid foundation for further education in the arts. Consult the student handbook, counseling staff or Ms. Scozzaro for more information.

Please take time to look at student work on display in the office, in the hallways and outside the art room to get an idea of the many exciting projects art students do each year.
