Introduction
Mr. Gabrielsen loves to read stories to
his 3-year-old daughter. As a science
teacher, he loves to teach about science.
With this in mind, it is your job to learn about one of the elements and
write a children’s story. This means
you must go beyond simply getting facts a regurgitating them in some sort of
report. You must digest the information
and present it in a simple fashion. You
must include many pictures or illustrations to keep the interest of young
minds. If possible, try to create a
storyline that ties together the information about your element. Some ideas might be:
Create a character that is discovering your element
Create a number or counting book
Create an alphabet book
Use your imagination!
